RES 253 - Advanced Clinical Studies I |
This course includes clinical instructions in advanced patient care practice. This healthcare setting course will allow the student, working along side a licensed health care professional, to become proficient with the skills covered to this point in the Respiratory Care Program. The student will be required to maintain physician contact and skills check-off of all therapeutic procedures covered in RES 152, Clinical Applications I; RES 154, Clinical Applications II; and RES 249, Comprehensive Applications. During this rotation the student will be encouraged to work and participate in the critical care environment and become proficient with the skills learned in the laboratory setting of mechanical ventilation.
